The Circumcision Clinic is a specialty centre set up by Mr. A Khan FRCS (Edinburgh). The clinic offers patients and their families a professional circumcision service. It is a private male religious circumcision centre based in the UK. The practice of male circumcision in the UK is generally carried out for religious or cultural reasons. The pain and trauma often associated with the procedure can be minimised by having the procedure performed by a skilled surgeon who has an extensive experience performing circumcisions and revisions of prior procedures performed by others. Mr. A Khan works for NHS and is currently working in a sub-speciality of surgery in a District General Hospital and the University Hospital, Wales, UK.
The facility is available for all ages. The procedure is carried out using Plastibell (made by Hollister Incorporated and also known as Ring method) or Sleeve resection method (Foreskin is resected and possibly stitches are applied where ever necessary).
